Meet The Designer

Mrs Betty Nwabineli:

Although I have three academic degrees - a B.Sc in applied microbiology, an M.Sc in medical microbiology and a Ph. D in medical and environmental microbiology; professionally, a trained and experienced Biomedical Scientist in medical microbiology, I have an incredible passion for designing, creating and providing beautifully, cleverly and exquisitely hand-crafted cakes. I am also passionate about offering first class services for my clients. In addition to these, I am well versed in the art of sugar craft, flower arrangement and extremely knowledgeable in the area of food hygiene. I have run my own businesses in Nigeria and in the Isle of Man. I am now based in Newcastle upon Tyne in the North East England.

I am also very passionate about sharing my sugar craft skills. Consequently, I have now moved into a business premises and set up a studio where I run cake-making and cake-decorating classes. This business continues to grow and is increasingly attracting many customers.

My aspiration is to continue to excel in my business and to continue to bring true joy and life-long satisfaction to my clients. We are achieving all of the above and much more by creating and providing astonishing cakes that make our clients’ special days really SPECIAL!
